Not all patios are out back of the house. Many are at the front of the house, in clear view of all street traffic and home visitors. Even if it’s a small space, there are many ways to make your front patio attractive.
Use Plantings for Color and Privacy
Across the street, our neighbor’s patio is out front. I must say several years ago, I hated looking out my front door. But I must give them credit; they have done several things to make the area more attractive. You can add patio tables and chairs or a couple of Adirondack chairs.
Use low-growing shrubs or ground cover to add a little bit of color or taller plants to provide additional privacy from street traffic. Colorful planters can also make nice accents to not only your patio but your home as well. Get creative and make your front patio attractive and inviting.
